What counts as a "device"?
A device is any sensor or smart controller installed by Holio. This includes window/rain sensors, smart TRV radiator valves, and airco controllers. Each physical unit installed in a room counts as one device at €2/month.
Are there setup or installation costs?
No setup fees. Hardware costs are discussed during your demo depending on your property size and which sensors you need. Installation is straightforward; most properties are fully installed in a single day with no rewiring required.
Is there a minimum contract length?
Holio has a minimum contract length of 3 years. After that, the subscription continues on a rolling monthly basis with 30 days written notice to cancel. Most properties see full ROI well within the first year, so the 3-year term is rarely a concern.
How long does implementation take?
From signed agreement to fully operational is typically a matter of days. Hardware arrives pre-assigned to each room, so installation is plug and play and done in a single day. The PMS integration takes around 10 minutes. No technical contractor needed.
What if my PMS isn't supported yet?
Mews is live today. Noovy and Oracle Opera integrations are in active development. If you use a different PMS, contact us; we evaluate new integrations regularly and may already be planning yours.
What does the 99.9% uptime SLA mean in practice?
It means Holio guarantees your climate automation runs reliably around the clock. In the rare case of a sensor going offline, you're notified immediately via the dashboard and our team responds proactively.
